Rice and pasta must be cooked without salt. Rice is generally better. Don’t go overboard with carbohydrates, trying to limit them to 50% of the meal.

Even though cooking takes away some of the nutritional value of meat and fish, it is always recommended in order to avoid the chance of any dangerous illness.
The presence of fat in meat, even if it makes us turn up our noses, gives our four legged friends greater energy and a shinier coat.
Pork must be avoided absolutely, whether fresh or frozen, because it may contain certain viruses which may be dangerous to pets.

Always cook eggs.

If our friend shows an intolerance, we can add either milk or fresh cheese (ricotta and mozzarella).

Some boiled vegetables, like zucchini, carrots and beets, contain the necessary fiber for good digestion.
A few drops of olive oil, or another seed oil, add flavor and fatty acids to the diet.
