| We wish to pass on a few brief notes from Elena Spagnols book, Uomini in cucina (Men in the kitchen) published by Mondadori, which we consider the best weve read in recent years, being simple and to the point, synthetic and clear. Kitchen and Chicken will be delving more deeply into the enormous number of varied problems having to do with food and cooking, from utensils to basic preparation tips and so on. We feel it opportune to begin here by passing on some simple and basic preparation tips which everyone, or almost everyone, should know but its good to be reminded as it is important to keep certain things on hand in case of unexpected company, or just to be sure of not being caught without something youve forgotten.
